Open doors to potential new career opportunities

Have you previously studied at higher education level but don't yet have a full undergraduate degree? By studying for a further year at University College Birmingham, you can 'top-up' your course and achieve a full bachelor's degree.

Many of our undergraduate degree courses offer a 'top-up' option. Using credits from your previous studies, this means you only need to study the final year of our course in order to receive a full BA/BSc (Hons) degree in that subject, further enhancing your career prospects and also opening the doors to postgraduate study.

Top-up courses are available for students who have previously achieved a Level 5 qualification – for example, a HND (Higher National Diploma), a foundation degree (FdA, FdSc, etc.), an NVQ Level 5 or a European equivalent course. Simply check the entry requirements under your desired top-up to confirm if your previous studies are suitable to progress with us – and if you're not sure, you can always contact us before you apply.
