For those who are unable to visit our city-centre campus, we can bring the experience to you! 

Lecturers from the departments listed below are available to visit your college or sixth form to deliver tailored workshops, either hands-on sessions (subject to your facilities) or comprehensive course overviews.

Additionally, our Schools Liaison team is available to host general outreach sessions. These cover a variety of topics, including application guidance, funding support, and key insights into student life, providing valuable information to help students prepare for their next steps.

The following workshops are available upon request and can be tailored to suit the needs of your students.

Business - AI in the workplace

In this thought-provoking session, we will explore the role AI and its significant impact on the workforce, including job displacement and emerging opportunities. Creative Services

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for your students to participate in an exclusive masterclass linked to our FdA/BA (Hons) Hair and Make-up Business Management and FdA/BA (Hons) Prosthetics for Screen and Stage programmes. The masterclass will offer insights into the technical skills taught across the programmes, as well as a discussion on all aspects of the curriculum. The sessions are designed to help your students explore their next steps toward undergraduate study through offering: 

  • An immersive experience led by experienced lecturers and industry experts.
  • A tour of our state-of-the-art facilities and learning spaces.
  • A preview of the degree programmes and the exciting opportunities they provide for onward employment.

College of Food

We’re reaching out with an opportunity to connect with your Level 3 groups studying Hospitality and Catering courses and provide valuable insights into careers within the industry. Our sector-leading Birmingham College of Food offers foundation and bachelor’s progression opportunities, and our expert teaching staff are keen to work with you and your learners in the following ways:

  • External outreach - workshops for students brought to you (these can be practical kitchen sessions or industry talks). 
  • On-campus visits - we run a series of masterclasses for your students to join and see our campus facilities.
