Sixth Form Centre applicants who have submitted their applications will be required to have an interview.
This will be in person at University College Birmingham. If you are interested in applying, simply click 'Apply' below.
If you would like to find out more about our offer, we recommend attending one of our open days.
What happens at my interview?
You will meet with a member of the sixth form academic team who will discuss your career aspirations, your choice of A-level subjects and predicted grades.
What happens after my interview?
If your interview is successful
If you are successful, you will be issued with a conditional offer which will be subject to achieving the required GCSE grades for your chosen subjects.
You will receive an email 24 hours after your interview confirming your offer and the conditions you need to meet. We will also send you a letter by post. This should be received within 10 days of your interview.
You will need to respond to your offer to ‘Accept’ or ‘Reject’ your place within 4 weeks of receiving your offer email. Please do not delay, as we may not be able to keep a place for you if you haven’t accepted your offer.
If your interview is unsuccessful
If you are unsuccessful, our Admissions team will look at our course portfolio to see if there is a further education course that would be more suitable for you. We can also offer information, advice and guidance if we do not have a course that is right for you.
What happens if you apply after our deadline?
After this deadline, we may still be able to accept applications, but we cannot guarantee that you will be accepted if you meet the entry criteria, so we encourage you to apply early to guarantee your place.
