The generous Dean’s Award scholarships aim to recognise and support outstanding international students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership qualities, and a commitment to the betterment of society.
Value: 50% of tuition fee
Eligibility criteria
To apply for this scholarship, you must fulfil the following criteria:
- You must have received and accepted an offer to study on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programme at University College Birmingham starting in September 2025. Part-time courses, distance learning courses or other levels of study are not eligible.
- You must have overseas fee status and be paying overseas tuition fees. Home fee payers are not eligible.
- The minimum requirements are 144 UCAS tariff points (or international equivalents) for undergraduate programmes and 1st class honours (or international equivalents) for postgraduate programmes.
- This scholarship is available to students’ first year of study only.
How to apply
- Obtain an offer.
- Submit your application via this link for the Dean’s Award by 28 February 2025.
- Include a personal statement, and within 500 words, demonstrate your achievements in your field of study, your career aspirations, and your contribution to the betterment of society.
- You will be notified of the outcome via email.
