More than 800 students can be accommodated in our halls of residence, and to help you adjust, in your first year, you are guaranteed a place in The Maltings. If you submit your accommodation payment in full before the deadline, you can also receive a 15% rent discount. Find out more.

Receive a 15% discount
All students who apply for student accommodation at University College Birmingham and submit their payment in full before the deadline will receive a 15% rent discount.
Payment deadlines
- For a full-year or semester-one-only tenancy: full payment is to be submitted before Friday 4 October 2024
- For a semester-two-only tenancy: full payment is to be submitted before Friday 7 March 2025
The new offer of a 15% discount will now replace the current payment-in-full-discount of £100 for a full-year tenancy and £50 discount for a semester-one-only tenancy.
