Dr Penny Kechagioglou
Chief Clinical Information Officer, Deputy Chief Medical Officer and Consultant Clinical Oncologist at the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire
Dr Kechagioglou is the Chief Clinical Information Officer, deputy Chief Medical Officer and Consultant Clinical Oncologist at the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire. She is Vice-Chair of the Digital Health Networks CCIO Advisory Panel, with research and professional interest in healthcare innovation, digital health and leadership.
She has completed a Doctorate degree in Business Administration at Warwick Business School with a focus on Innovation and Leadership in Healthcare and is the author of the book 'Healthcare Innovation Success: learning from organisational experience'. She has also competed Masters in Public Health and Health Management at the University of London, as well as an MBA from Bradford University.
Dr Kechagioglou is an undergraduate and postgraduate tutor, lecturer, mentor and professional coach and co-chairs the British Society for Integrative Oncology Education Committee with a view to expand UK healthcare professional education on preventive, lifestyle and personalised cancer patient care. She is the co-author of the book 'Integrative Oncology in Breast Cancer Care' due to be published in March 2024 and co-founder on the ONCIO CIC, the first ever Integrative Oncology app to support patients throughout their cancer journeys.
