4 5 At our university, gaining real-world work experience is a top priority. Across our courses, there are opportunities for this through differing ways such as work experience, placements and simulated experiences. Having experience working within an educational environment is essential to be able to move into your career. Whether you want to become a classroom teacher, nursery manager or work with children of different ages in any context, we want to build your confidence to enter the educational setting and use the theoretical knowledge in practice. Depending on your chosen course, we will support you in various ways, from voluntary placements to guest speakers, building your links to help with employment within the educational sector. You could follow in the footsteps of our previous students and complete placements in nurseries, the private sector, primary and special schools and non-formal education settings. You can also use our University of Warwick partnership to complete a teaching qualification. CONGRATULATIONS! HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO... Our courses are developed and taught by experienced lecturing staff, who have worked in a range of roles across the education sector themselves, enabling them to draw on years of real-world experience.
