An award-winning specialist
Before attending University College Birmingham, Natalie gained valuable experience in the beauty industry performing facials and massages in spas, but her true passion was always to become a skin specialist.
After completing her foundation diploma in aesthetics, she went on to graduate with a first-honours degree, and enjoyed the fact the course allowed her to combine necessary theory with work in the industry: “The Aesthetic Practitioner BA course allowed me to quickly advance in the field, equipping me with the skills to treat a wide range of skin conditions,” she said.
“The blend of education, hands-on experience, and professional development has been key to my successful career in aesthetics.”
Since graduating, she has worked at one of the UK’s leading skin clinics, Medizen Premier Clinic, and has recently been promoted to the role of senior practitioner, where she collaborates with a team of dermatologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to give the best patient experience.
The job has also allowed her to hone her skills at the global level: “I’ve attended international conferences, trained with leading experts, and received awards for my contributions to the clinic,” she said.
“Those early experiences at University College Birmingham helped me to significantly enhance my expertise.”
