An exciting change of direction
Emeka’s route into Aviation Management was perhaps a little different to most, as he previously completed an undergraduate degree in Computer Science. Nevertheless, he saw the decision to return to study as essential in pursuit of his career interests.
“I was always curious about how integrating artificial intelligence could transform the aviation sector, so I was motivated to explore a different field and combine interests.”
This change meant getting to grips with new career options, and Emeka was gratified to find a supportive and friendly team on hand at the University.
“HIRED was invaluable for career planning, job searches, and CV development, and CASE helped when I needed assistance with academic writing and research techniques”, he said.
“In addition, the lecturers are exceptional. They’re engaging and conversational and bring a wealth of real-world experience into the classroom, which makes learning much more practical and relevant.”
Since graduation, Emeka is more confident than ever that he made the right choice.
“The course has a strong focus on industry relevance and scenario-based teaching, which offered real insights into how the aviation industry operates. I now have the essential skills, knowledge, and connections follow my dream.”
