Broadening horizons
After completing his bachelor’s degree, Abhyuday spent four years working in his home country, India. Always eager to take steps forward in his career, however, a return to education was always on the horizon.
“Whilst searching for the right course I came across the University College Birmingham website and saw that it is regarded as one of the best in hospitality, and would help me achieve my dream career.”
Having made the decision to travel to the UK, Abhyuday was impressed by the opportunities that presented themselves through his studies.
“The chances to travel and network were incredible. I took part in international conferences with renowned guest speakers, and we were even able to go on an educational trip to Morocco. The memories of these experiences and the friendships I made with like-minded people will stay with me forever”.
Summing up his time at the University, Abhyuday only had positive words. “Birmingham is best for students from other countries as it has a vast, diversified culture. It really has been a journey to remember. If I were to choose again, I would be at University College Birmingham in no time.”
