I studied management and treatment of sports injuries through the Football Association at Lilleshall National Sports Centre, before studying for a degree in Physiotherapy and then a PGCE. I was senior sports injury physiotherapist at the sports injury clinic based at the Alsager campus of Manchester Metropolitan University.
After completing 16 years in professional football as senior club physiotherapist, I decided to change career and moved into the higher education sector joining University College Birmingham in 2011. My key responsibilities are centred around lecturing on the BSc and FdSc sports therapy programme.
