Teaching within Creative Services across Beauty Therapy programmes, in particular first year level 2 where learners are being introduced to the fundamental technical, social and soft skills that are needed within the Beauty Therapy industry. Pastoral support to learners with a range of learning and social differences. Support and inspire the next generation of beauty therapists.

Profile
I studied beauty therapy at University College Birmingham before embarking on an extensive career in the industry. This included owning and managing a beauty salon in the West Midlands and a women's wellness business in London. I also worked as a spa therapist on cruise ships before transitioning into management, and as an in-flight beauty therapist for Virgin Atlantic airlines.Over the course of my career, I have worked closely with companies such as Elemis, Dermalogica, Clarins, Ionithermie, Australian Bodycare and OPI.I decided to train as a lecturer in 2009, and achieved a Certificate in Education in 2011.
