Profile
I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Makeup and Hair Design for Film Photography and Music before moving into teaching part-time on a Level 3 Diploma in Theatrical, Special Effects and Media Hair and Make Up. Concurrently, I balanced my own freelance business in commercial media makeup and completed my Post Graduate Certificate in teaching and learning for vocational subjects.
In 2013, I joined University College Birmingham as a full-time member of staff on the FdA / BA Specialist Hair and Media Make Up (SHMM) programme.
Teaching
My key responsibilities include module leading the Final Major Project which is the optional module against the traditional research project for level 6 SHMM students and being Year Manager for the level 5 BA SHMM students.
External Engagementsr
I am an external examiner for the FdA Fashion, Theatrical and Media Make Up and Hair degree at Leeds City College.
