Makesh Sohpal

I hold a BSc in Business and Politics and have a strong background in business development. I have successfully established businesses, including a film production company, which has provided me with deep insights into the business environment. In addition to my entrepreneurial pursuits, I have actively helped individuals develop their own businesses and navigate the job market.

 As an industry practitioner, I had the honour of drawing on my real-world experiences to guide learners through the practical challenges of setting up and establishing their own business. Over the years, I have been teaching digital marketing courses, blending theoretical knowledge with hands-on skills to equip students with the contemporary tools they need to thrive both within business and in today’s job market.

I am proud to serve as a Digital Marketing Lecturer at University College Birmingham, where I am dedicated to helping students achieve their potential and make a lasting impact in their fields.
