Luan Cassal

I am a Lecturer in Psychology with expertise in lifespan and developmental psychology, psychology applied to education, gender and sexuality, and research methods. 

I am a Chartered Psychology (CPsych) and member of the Division of Academics, Researchers and Teachers in Psychology and the Psychology of Sexualities Section of the British Psychological Society (BPS). 

I am also a Fellow with Higher Education Academy/Advance HE (FHEA), a member of Gender and Education Association UK (GEA) and co-convener of the Sexualities & Gender Special Interest Group of the British Educational Research Association (BERA), 2025-2028.

I have professional and academic experience working in schools, colleges, and universities in different countries, and in research and scholarship applied to social justice and transformation.
