I worked clinically for 16 years at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, in Renal Medicine and Haemodialysis, and then moved into Nurse Education for 12 years, providing support and education for grades of Nurses and Healthcare Practitioners before completing a secondment in Education and Quality at Health Education England (West Midlands).
Now as a Lecturer and Assessor I am enthusiastic to continue to share my knowledge and skills with University College Birmingham students who aspire to be healthcare staff of the future.
Teaching
Assistant Practitioner Apprenticeship Diploma – Anatomy and Physiology, Infection Prevention and Control, Managing Quality, Leadership as well as work based assessments of practice.

Planning to start a Doctorate in Education in September 2017
