Profile
I have been working in an academic environment over the past 15 years. I gained my PhD in Computer Science from Coventry University. I have also worked for the NHS in various Primary Care Trust Children Centres and University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.
I joined University College Birmingham as a senior lecturer on the Computer Science higher education programme. I have helped to develop the Computer Science undergraduate programme and am also involved with the Cyber Security higher education programme.

Software Design and Development, System Analysis and Design, Object Oriented Programming, Database Systems, Web Development.
Research interests and scholarly activity
My principal research interests are in the field of distributed computing, automated negotiation, cloud computing, web services, and their impacts upon e-commerce.
My PhD thesis focused on distributed computing, automated negotiation, cloud computing, fuzzy logic, game theory, intelligent agents and decision-making theories using artificial intelligence techniques. I have few publications in journals and conference proceedings.
