Abigail first joined University College Birmingham as a student back in 2019 and completed a BA Hons degree in Hospitality with Events Management.
During their time as a student, Abigail undertook a placement year as a Project Coordinator working on the Commonwealth games and also got involved in a number of voluntary positions within the events industry.
Her favourite one being The Key to The City which was part of the Birmingham 2022 Festival. After graduating, she then worked as a Sales and Event Coordinator arranging a variety of events at Unique Venues Birmingham and has since joined the Hospitality and Events team as a Teaching Assistant.

External engagements
Supporting the teaching staff during lectures and seminars, help with the creation of learning resources, co-manage canvas sites, help students complete tasks and support if needed.
