UCB boxer Ben "The Bomber" Vaughan claims fourth title

UCB boxing star Ben Vaughan has added the England Youth Boxing title to his schoolboy and two junior belts.

Competing over a tough weekend, including bouts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday Ben defeated John Johnstone to claim the belt in Rotherham in the 64kg weight division. Supported by his father Mark, a former Paratrooper, who provided expert video analysis to establish a game plan against each of his opponents. 

“The Bomber” is ready to push on and add further titles to his already impressive collection.

“I will be competing in the Youth GB Three Nations in June and then hopefully getting picked for the Youth Commonwealth team in July, which is in the Bahamas” says Ben, a member of Kings Heath Boxing club, Northampton.

Ben, 17, is also looking to follow UCB Boxing Academy graduate Carl Fail, a member of the GB Podium Potential Team.
