Jessica Wainwright

I completed a BA Hons History in 2013 at the University of Worcester and an MA in Information and Library Studies with Aberystwyth University in 2019. I have previously worked in a medical library for the NHS and for Waterstones. My role at UCB is to oversee and maintain all systems and ensure online library resources are working effectively for students and staff. Additionally, I am responsible for overseeing the Library's acquisitions process for the print and online collections.

I deliver ad hoc teaching sessions on using online library resources, research skills and library inductions.

I completed a Masters thesis in 2019 that involved a small-scale research project to examine students and library staff's perceptions of the online library and access to e-resources as UCB Library transitioned to a digital first Library.

I represent UCB Library at the Mercian Senior Staff & Deputies group.
